All Franklin students visit the STEAM lab once a week with their class.  The lessons and projects designed in the lab enrich the classroom experience.  Kindergarten students design levers, and then write as scientists to inform their readers about "How To" build a lever.  Fourth-grade students design gameboards for their classroom novel, Island of the Blue Dolphins using the laser-cut printer.  Sixth-grade students program bots to navigate Ancient Eqyptian tombs.  All our STEAM lab truly enriches the academic experience of every Franklin Eagle and is an example of the integrated approach all staff take towards students and learning.
